I have no idea what that bumped-up-from-2006 Special Requests thread is about, but it includes a really neat link. I've only seen about 12 minutes, and it seems to be pretty much all crowd/atmosphere scenes so far ... but what a setting/blast from the past, particularly for anyone who was in Colorado around that time.

Was anyone here at Telluride? If so, you may be on here:

I was there with about 40 friends. I think I've seen a few glimpses of friends and I can tell where we were sitting but I never saw myself.

The first show was great but the second, I think everyone was burned out from the three Rocks shows before and the altitude got to the band by Sunday.

I did get up for the sunrise Harmonic Convergence celebration at the park, Bubba Olatungi, lead us thru town drumming. While I was standing near the back, I got these weird shivers, I turned to my friend who was next to me, we both looked at each other and then over our shoulders, and who was standing there but the Master Alchemist, Owsley.

We all kinda smiled that knowing grin and that was enough!

Later when I was going in the show after sleeping in the dirt waiting after the sunrise festivities, I ran into Uncle Bobo. I had to thank him for a organizing the event and all he'd done for us for the last 20 plus years. He was so gracious and I ran off having met two of my favorite figures of our scene in one grand morning.

That was the last great road trip for me, I did have a few more with limited moments but Telluride seemed like the beginning of the end.

"Whatta long strange trip its been"

Mr. Bus. I am trying to get in touch with you and my posts keep coming back with errors. If they are actually making it through, sorry for the harrasment/stalking.

I am the person you helped sell tix to Red Rocks last year. We are going this year and I am looking for some advice. Care to help?

I am at Tilley1@aol.com

Thanks
Doug
